Bus Map – Red Markers

Dedicated Map for Tourist Coaches, City Buses and Long-Distance Passenger Transport

The Bus Map in BusTruckPark (BT Park) is purpose-built for professional bus drivers, tour operators, and passenger transport companies operating across Europe. It provides a focused, easy-to-read environment where all relevant parking locations are clearly marked with red markers, enabling instant recognition and faster decision-making on the road.

This map is specifically optimized for the operational needs of large passenger vehicles. It prioritizes locations that offer sufficient maneuvering space, safe passenger boarding and drop-off zones, and proximity to key destinations such as city centers, tourist attractions, airports, and major transport hubs.

What You See on the Bus Map

  • Red markers indicating bus-friendly parking locations across Europe
  • Orange markers highlighting critical restrictions such as low bridges and weight limits
  • Structured, transport-specific data tailored for bus operations

How It Works

Tapping any red marker opens a details panel with the location name, address and a full set of detailed information, including:

  • Parking type and capacity
  • Pricing (clearly marked as Free or Paid)
  • Exact GPS coordinates
  • Limitations section, such as maximum parking time
  • Direct “Navigate” button that opens Google Maps, Waze or another navigation app for turn-by-turn directions

The inclusion of orange restriction markers ensures that drivers can immediately identify potential obstacles, allowing safer navigation through complex urban and intercity environments.

Truck Map – Blue Markers

Dedicated Map for Heavy Goods Vehicles and Long-Haul Transport

The Truck Map is designed specifically for heavy goods vehicle (HGV) drivers, logistics operators, and long-haul transport professionals. All truck-compatible parking locations are clearly displayed using blue markers, providing a reliable overview of suitable stops across Europe.

This map focuses on infrastructure built for large-scale transport, including highway rest areas, secure parking zones, logistics centers, and overnight facilities capable of accommodating long vehicles, trailers, and high-capacity loads.

What You See on the Truck Map

  • Blue markers for truck parking, rest stops, and logistics-friendly locations
  • Orange markers indicating weight restrictions and height limits
  • Detailed service information relevant to long-distance driving

How It Works

By tapping a blue marker, users open a comprehensive details panel with:

  • Parking type and capacity
  • Pricing (Free or Paid)
  • Precise GPS coordinates
  • Services section, including amenities such as fuel stations, restaurants, showers, Wi-Fi, repair facilities, and security features
  • “Navigate” button provides direct navigation via Google Maps, Waze or another navigation app

Orange restriction markers remain visible at all times (they can be hidden in Filters if needed), helping drivers avoid unsuitable routes, restricted bridges, or roads that are not compatible with heavy vehicles.

Combined Bus & Truck Map

Complete Overview for Mixed Fleets and Advanced Planning

The Combined Bus & Truck Map provides a comprehensive overview by displaying both bus and truck parking locations within a single interface. This makes it an ideal solution for fleet managers, transport companies, and drivers who operate across multiple vehicle types.

By integrating all data layers into one view, the map allows users to plan routes more efficiently while maintaining full awareness of available parking and potential restrictions.

What You See on the Combined Map

  • Red markers for all bus parking locations
  • Blue markers for all truck parking locations
  • Orange markers for height and weight restrictions
  • Numbered circles grouping nearby places – red for buses, blue for trucks, dark grey for mixed groups

How It Works

Interaction remains consistent across all marker types:

  • Tap any marker to open the details panel with all information
  • Tap a numbered circle to zoom in to the places it contains
  • Bus locations display limitation-related information
  • Truck locations display available services and amenities
  • “Navigate” button provides direct routing via Google Maps, Waze or another navigation app

This unified view enables users to evaluate multiple factors simultaneously, making it the most powerful planning tool within the application.

Common Features on All Three Maps

GPS Integration

When location services are enabled, the map automatically centers on the user’s current position, allowing quick discovery of nearby parking options. If GPS is disabled, the map opens in a full European view (or where you last left it) with complete manual navigation, including large + and − zoom buttons.

Dark Mode Support

The app interface supports Dark Mode (following your phone setting or chosen in Menu › Appearance), improving visibility during night driving and reducing eye strain in low-light conditions.

Seamless Navigation

Every marker — whether red, blue, or orange — includes a “Navigate” function that connects directly to Google Maps, Waze or another navigation app, providing accurate, real-time, turn-by-turn directions.
